    Ankara is the capital of the Turkey. After suffering from the deep financial crises in 2001 which causes a server contraction of the economy. Turkey recovered a growth which is help by the International Monetary Fund. Turkey's Gross Domestic Product growth rate was 5.8 percent in 2003. 8.9 percent in 2004 and 5 percent in 2005. The confidence of the people of the Turkey has improved and consumption has also improved. But the unemployment is worsening and affects the 12 percent of the active population.  Agriculture is generally subsidized and it contributes 12 percent of the gross domestic product and employs 29 percent of the population.

    Wheat is the main crop of the turkey. The country is third largest exporter of tobacco world wide. There are mining natural resources are numerous but little exploited.  The manufacturing industry accounts for 20 percent of the gross domestic product.   Textile, clothing, chemistry, building material and food processing are main activity items. Tourism contributes the 4 percent of the gross domestic product and nearly 13 million visitors every year. Turkey is open for international trade. Europe and Turkey entered into free trade agreement in 1996.  Turkey three import partners are Germany, Russia and Italy. People of Turkey are very hard working.
