This Question Is Answered:
Legally How Long Does A Landlord Have To Make Repairs To Appliances?
We are renting a home. Our lease states we have a dishwasher. We notified the landlord when the dishwasher stopped working 3 months ago. Landlord states they are waiting for warranty co. To send contractor out to repair unit. I think that 3 months is way too long to go with out a working dishwasher. I am wondering what recourse do we have at this point in time?

The Landlord is responsible for making all the repairs of the already installed appliances. If your landlord does not make the repairs, write a letter to him and keep a copy of it (for future record). If it does not work, you can call the law office or better call the building inspector. You can also sue a landlord for forced repairs. And get compensated for the damage he has caused by delaying the repairs.
