My Mini Schnauzer had a violent reaction to a vaccine. Itchy, hives, sudden and continuous movements, showing signs of inability to relax or be comfortable. I returned to the vet and she was given an injection of benadryl which seemed to help. However, I think it took weeks to recover. And in fact, her overall heath deteriated after that episode.
