Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Ernest Hemingway had great admiration for F. Scott Fitzgerald and he particularly admired one of his books 'The Great Gatsby'. He even went to the extent saying that if he could write a book like 'The Great Gatsby' just once, he could do it for several times and could write a better novel than this.

Earnest Hemingway always looked forward to Mr Fitzgerald for inspiration as he found him as a professional and experienced writer. The particular thing that Mr Hemingway admired in Mr. Fitzgerald's work was that he liked the flaws that is natural and existed in the characters of Mr. Fitzgerald's characters also.

When it comes to the friendship that F. Scott Fitzgerald made with Earnest Hemingway, it was his frequent visit to Paris that made it possible. He made his friendship with some other writers and artists also during his visit to Europe and particularly Paris and French Riviera.
