How Do You Fit A Tow Bar?

          You can turn your car into a towing machine by use of a tow bar. For installing a tow bar; you will have to find out the mounting points. You can do this by removing the section of interior boot trim of the car, or the side panels or covering o the floor. You may also have to remove the bumper of your car. You may also have to get rid of the heat shield or in some cases you might to remove the exhaust tail pipe.

          The chassis legs of your car will have 2 holes; you can bolt the tow bar directly into these two holes. The supporting arms if present may secure the installation of the tow bar.

          There are some tow bars which can be installed directly to the bumper of the car. You may also have to cut the bumper before putting to the vehicle again.
