Can My Landlord Tell Me I Have 3 Days To Get Out Just Because I Had Visitors Over At 1:30PM?
I move to a basement on June 30 and the landlord never told me that i couldn't have visitors over so yesterday i had 3 friends over to hang out ,so when i was trying to open the door he told me to get everybody the f*ck out and stated screaming at my guests and he told me i had about 3 days to move out ...can i sue ?please help

No, he just tell you to get out. He can't even tell you that you can't have company at 1:30 in the morning either. He has to serve you with an eviction notice to evict you. Sounds to me like he is a control freak. Go to the landlord/tenant board to see what you can do about this. Hope this helps, good luck.

First you should check your lease,if you have one,to see what restrictions it has.Landlords cannot make up rules as they wish.Even if you have violated the lease you have to be given a notice of thirty days.

You must have a eviction notice in writing, check your lease to see what it says about guest, because we have some crazy land lords that rent a room, apartment, house etc you pay rent but they want to control like they live there, and tell you how to live you are paying he has no control over ones life just his house, apartment etc.
