If The Father Is B Positive And The Mother Is 0 Negative, What Will The Babies Blood Type Be?

    That is the case with me. My father is B+ and mother is O-. My mother had no complication in any of the pregnancies. My elder sister is O+ and I am O-.

    This proves your father is a carrier for o and also proves that he is a carrier for the neg.too. Both o and neg. Are recessive u have to inherit both these traits from both parents to be that genotype., like u have done.

      The baby can only be o- if the father is carrying the recessive gene for o and also the recessive gene neg. That is if he is not pure breeding for his B and his POS. Alleles. As u do not know what his genotype is for both these traits then u are wrong to say " or o-" .
