Can Mercer Be Dormant?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Mercer is not proper pronunciation. It is MRSA which are resistant strains of staff bacteria and difficult to treat.  These bacteria usually present on our skin without any harm and to some extent you can say that they remain dormant on our skin until skin has any cut, wound or burn. These bacteria are opportunistic and can cause infection when our skin has lesions. If these bacteria enter blood stream then they are not dormant and can cause systemic infection.
