Brings about PEACE and JOY ??? Do YOU know how many wars, have been waged, in the name of the Bible ??? Every "holy book" has it's share of "blood" on its hands, especially the Bible!!!
There is killings that has nothing to do with God in our life everyday.Just as you have people that wants to kill just because they feel like it. Yes to your question when people don't want to accept the truth they will kill to destroy the truth and Jesus died for our sins so there was blood shed why because you have hatred that runs so high in people that don't won't accept the truth.and without the BiBle this world would not exist because it was build up off the Word fo God and long as righteousness pravails the people has a chance.But if you take away the Bible which is the word of life then you take away your life as well.Do you not understand because God created you is why you live and have your being and thats this is the only way you live.
Every one should use the bible just think about how many less problem would we have it carried a bible just like a cell phone
