A database manage system (DBMS) is in place to organize, collate and tabulate raw data in a readable format which can be used to generate reports, analyze data and keep information readily available for a decision maker. The data is tabulated in a way to eliminate redundancy and efficient management of resources in a more effective manner. As opposed to manual filing, DBMS is less cumbersome and requires a smaller manpower to manage, maintain and operate. It considerably reduces the burden on an organization's economic resources thus enabling the entrepreneurs to be more focused on the core activities.
