Should We Follow The Wedding Favor Tradition, What Is Your Opinion About It?

In my opinion the tradition or custom whether it is a wedding favor tradition or any else should not be followed blindly. All the traditions that are followed in our daily life might not be the part of our culture that is, it is possible that some of these customs and traditions were originated in some other culture and have migrated gradually to our cultures. The migrated tradition might not be as beneficial or suitable for our culture than those who started this one.

The tradition of distributing wedding favors was started by high class European people, but now it is followed by almost all cultures worldwide.It is normally tried to give some precious thing as wedding favor to the guests, to make this wedding occasion unforgettable for them.

However, there are also some communities that can not afford such expenses for wedding. Thus we should not make the wedding favor tradition a necessity for the wedding ceremony.

In its real sense, this tradition is not a bad thing as such. It is just a way of gratitude from couple towards the guests attending their wedding ceremony. There are not hard and fast rules of gratitude. Everybody is free to choose his/her own way of following this tradition and saying thanks to the guests according to his/her choice.
