It can, indeed, be difficult to secure a loan in your situation. If you are able to get a loan from a bank, or another financial institution, they will probably charge you a higher interest, due to your credit history. I recommend that before anything else, you visit the local branch of your bank. Since you already have an account with them, they should seriously consider your request. Ask them what kind of student loans they offer and tell them about your specific situation. You should make an appointment ahead of time, and it might be a good idea to ask to speak with the manager of the local branch. It should work in your favour that you are working full-time, as this does demonstrate that you have a regular cash flow.

Another option is to seek a government loan. The really positive aspect of these loans--often administered at the state/provincial level--is that you only have to begin repaying it once you have completed your studies and have graduated from your program. Additionally, they charge a lower level of interest than most banks. I suggest that you visit your college's financial aid office and make an appointment to speak with someone there about this option.
