That you can have fun without spending lots of money, to enjoy the simple things in life, to believe in God, to be kind to old people (lol won't be too long and I'll be one of those...), to respect yourself, to say thank you.
Not to treat my kids like objects that are replaceable. And to love them with all you have they have feelings too. I guess my parents didn't know that.
That the dinner table was the most important thing in the house other than the people that sat around it. Laughing, talking, joking, and being together was the most important thing. ♥
How not to parent. They were very abusive. My husband and I looked to the church to help us raise our children and believe God that if we raised them in the ways of the Lord that they would not depart.
Peace
I believe my parents taught me how not to act~(not leaders by example) what a depressing Q for me to comment on...now I'm remembering things that I care not to...♥
That love really is the greatest gift. Yes I know it sounds like a bumper sticker or a tshirt, but it's true this is what they taught me through their example. Oh, and that no one should die alone
