I don't know what country you are in, but here in America, lots of salaried workers put in 8 to 10 hour days.

I live in Minnesota, we already have to work 8-9 hours 5 days a week, now they told us we must work 6 days a week for 8-9 hours per shift. Is this legal? Can they make us do this?

8 hours is the average work day for a 40 hr week.  Most salaried employees work an average of 5 hrs overtime in a week - but this balances out with the fact they get paid when they leave early or come in late..

And that is why you are salaried. They can work you as much as they'd like.
