Are White Peacocks A Form Of Mutation?
I need to know if white peacocks are some type of a mutation or if they are natural breeds.
Answers
Albinism in any species is not only rare but possible. There have been albino deer, donkeys horses and a number of other species including birds. They have several traits in common including no pigment in their skin, red eyes again no pigment and snow whit hair. It also happens in people, the Winter Brothers, Johnny and Edgar are examples, and very talented musicians, so it does not tend to affect anything but pigmentation. The sun can be very hard on anyone or animal with this condition, but they tend to lead and live fairly normal lives. The chances of an albino animal procreating and having another offspring that is an albino is pretty remote. It is a double recessive gene and is rare.

Well I couldn't find much on them but they are an extremely rare breed of a blue peacock. I would say its a mutation but i'm not positive.
