How Do I Get Purple Plumbers Dope Off My Linoleum?

This is going to be really tough.  The problem with solvent and linoleum is that the solvent sinks in just like it does with the pipe he used it on. You're going to have to use some solvent to fade it out but I'll warn you, you'll probably never get it all out.  Go to the hardware store and get their smallest can of toluene.  Open your windows and doors and perhaps even put a fan in the bathroom before you open the can - don't breath the vapours from this stuff.  Use a cotton swab and carefully dab it on the spots and quickly wipe it off with a rag.  Depending on what type of linoleum you have it may fade it out enough to not drive you crazy.  Best of luck.

Try coopertone suntan lotion ( seriously ..it will take wax out of carpet or chocolate out of carpet) or try lighter fluid ( which will even take tar out of carpet)

You can use WD-40. Works everytime.
