The greatest issue related to marketing not only being faced by Mobilink but all the telecommunication companies is that there is a lot of competition in the industry and there is a lot of marketing being done by all the companies.
It has become difficult for Mobilink to stand out from all the other companies like in the past in terms of their advertising. There are also highly competitive packages, rates and additional features that all the companies are offering. New ads are coming out every day from several companies and the marketing costs have also increased. Some years ago, Mobilink was the only mobile company in pakistan and it did not require much marketing to get customers but now there are many new entrants and this has caused difficulties for mobilink and caused them to lose some market share as well.
