Should You Keep Helium Mylar Balloons In A Warm Or Cool Room To Last 5 Days If Possible?

Answer Question

In a cool room. As a gas gets cooler its volume will reduce. This will lower the pressure in the balloon and will cause the helium to leak out slower. The baloons may sink to the floor when cold but they should float again when warmed. Not sure that this will be enough to let them last 5 days!

You should keep your mylar balloons in room temperature...if they are too hot they will burst if they are too cold they wont float until warmed back up....with your mylars in room temperature they should last quite a while depending who blew them up and how far they blew they up!

Thanks, you're right, we had them up to 4 weeks at the room temp- one staying higher up than the other.
