Im On My Psp Asking This Question. How Can I Watch Videos Off The Internet On My Psp?

Answer Question

It is not possible, as the Playstation Portable cannot run the Adobe Flash Player, which is actually what displays the videos.

Ok... I'm sorry Paul95... You are not correct. There are several ways to show videos from the internet on your PSP. However you are right in a small amount: The PSP does not play a MODERN ENOUGH version of flash to play vids directly in web pages like 'YouTube', however this does not mean you cannot view videos from YouTube on the psp...

It's a little complicated, and you would probably be better served doing a search, or asking this in a PSP specific forum, which will be attended by people that are probably much better at this than I am, but the short answer is 'RSS feed'.

There are many sites that have a small orange icon that looks kinda like radio waves, and it is usually an active link to allow you to 'add an RSS feed' to your PSP. If your firmware is at least v3.75 or later (hacked or Official Sony), there is even an icon just above your browser icon that is 'RSS Channel'. That is specifically for routing audio or video directly to your PSP via wireless access point.

However, as much as I'd love to give you a straightforward guide to using RSS channels on your PSP, I'm afraid I've been kinda hit or miss with it. I found a page once that allowed you to add categories from 'Google Video' to your PSP's RSS channels, but I forgot to bookmark it, and lost the address... (how embarassing)(^_^)

But if you do some searching on the web, for instructions on how to add RSS channels to your PSP, you should have no problem finding more knowledgable people than me. I just didn't want you to think it's not possible.

Keep in mind, that another way to do it, is to use a pc to capture the video stream (using an appropriate program), then convert it with PSPVideo9 (a free program) and transfer the converted vid to your PSP. This is why I don't have as much experience using RSS channels... Heh. I download anime from the net, then convert it and put the converted files on my PSP... Makes some very high grade videos.... (^_^)

Good luck, and I hope this answer has at least given you some ideas where to look from here.
