How Long Does It Take To Hard Boil An Easter Egg?

It takes from 12- 20 min depending on altitude.
Here are some directions for you. Put  eggs in saucepan large enough to hold them in single layer. Add cold water to cover eggs by 1 inch. Heat over high heat just to boiling.  Reduce heat and simmer approximate 20 min.  
Or an alternate method would be to remove from burner  after the eggs reach a boil.  Cover pan.
And let the eggs sit in hot water about 18 minutes for large eggs (15 minutes for medium eggs; 20 minutes for extra large).   Happy Egg eating....
