Investment Banking is a profession that requires a lot of dedication. It actually concerns with raising money through issuing and selling securities in the capital markets. Investment Bankers also provide advice on merger and acquisitions transactions.

In order to be an investment banker, you would have to study a lot. First of all, you need to be good in Finance which means numbers. The minimum requirement for being an investment banker is MBA with specialization in Finance.

Then you can also do a CFA degree which is Chartered Financial Analyst. In fact most banks prefer CFA's over MBA's. The reason being CFA's study more core finance than MBA's. So best option would be to do a CFA. This would make you eligible for entry level position in investment banking.
