What Is A Safer Alternative To Pyrotechnics?
I was looking into pyrotechnics as a possible hobby, and got really interested. Unfortunately, my parents felt it was too dangerous (rightfully so). So I need an alternative to it that is somewhat less risky, as well as manageable for a teenager.

Pyrotechnics basically deals with the manufacturing of fireworks and other items such as safety matches, oxygen candles, explosive bolts etc. I believe you want to take up fireworks as a hobby. Well Your parents are absolutely right as it is a very dangerous hobby. There is no safer alternatives to Pyrotechnics. So firstly you should not keep it as a hobby and secondly if you really want to take it up as a hobby be very careful and do it in open. For more details see the link below:

Maybe you should look into taking up chemistry or something at a local tech school. There ought to be something else out there to pique your interests.
