Has Anyone Received A Puppy From Parvo And Learned Of The Long Term Side Effects?

Our puppy has parvo . At home trying to keep her hydrated , puppy pedialite,heard salt bad. Giving her the meds ,goes in for more fluids, not eating. Soft food and cottage cheese, plain yogurt, scrambled eggs, white rice. Put some food in her mouth and held in helping her swallow like the vet told me to give her meds,threw it up. It so sad watching her suffer . I have been reading about the long term effects that she can still have congestive heart failure even a year later and will always be a weak dog if she makes it.
