This is a ridiculous answer
you can't just be a vet, you have to know the anatomy of every animal, understand the oncology of the animal, know medications etc, it's not that hard to know what qualifications you need to have!!! Just think its like being a doctor.
Yes, like he said and some good colleges to go to are Auburn University and University of Florida, they are some of the best in the country... Also you have to go to vet school after college which will be 3-8 years.
