What Is The Concept Of 'Parallel Universes'?

Answer Question

Recent discoveries in quantum physics (the study of the physics of sub-atomic particles) and in cosmology (the study in combination of astronomy and astrophysics) discuss on how mind interacts with matter.  These discoveries oblige acceptance of the idea that there is far more than just one universe and one unique reality and also we constantly intermingle with many of these 'hidden' universes, called Parallel Universes.

As per reported by bbc.co.uk in their Parallel Universes article (BBC Two 9.00PM Thursday 14 February 2002), 'Scientists now believe there may really be a parallel universe - in fact, there may be an infinite number of parallel universes, and we just happen to live in one of them. These other universes contain space, time and strange forms of exotic matter. Some of them may even contain you, in a slightly different form. Astonishingly, scientists believe that these parallel universes exist less than one millimeter away from us. In fact, our gravity is just a weak signal leaking out of another universe into ours.'

Once sci-fi writers loved to speculate on the possibility of another universe, which unquestionably was rejected by serious scientists, whereas, it now becomes an issue for serious discussion for them as scientists came with the conclusion of 11 diemnsions, where our universe is existing like a bubble and the vibration among them is occuring through 11th dimension, which may result in collision at any given time and giving birth of a new one. Quite fascinating indeed!
