Who Is The Best Actor Martial Arts Film Star?

Best is difficult to say because so many of them can't act, but if we ask what is the best 'action' star of this genre, it doesn't help much either.

My personal favourite when I was young was Jean-Claude Van Damme, but his movies became more sappy and more guns and ammo, rather than chop socky.  His best movies are Bloodsport, Kickboxer and No Retreat No Surrender.

Jackie Chan of course, is a legend, his movies have never really lost that slightly crazy, do the words match my lip movements style film, but the action is still fantastic and stunts amazing.

Jet Li - the fist with attitude, I never get tired of watching this guy, he's quick, agile and I really wouldn't want to get into a fist fight with the guy.  He's the most impressive on the list in terms of pure martial arts.

It's safe to say that Bruce Lee, in his brief career, made a tremendous impact.  I don't know enough about martial arts to comment on his technique, but he sure was a charismatic and dynamic presence on the screen.

Chuck Norris - especially in his younger days - was impressivein his moves, although he had the emotional range of Al Gore.

Yuen Biao is my favourite he's double for Jackie Chan
