Where Does The Ferry From Penzance Go?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The Ferry runs between Penzance and the Isles of Scilly (located approximately 28 miles out in the Atlantic Ocean). The ferry service offers regular, daily crossings (except Sunday).  It transports both passengers as well as cargo. It takes approximately two hours and forty minutes to sail from one location to the other.

The ferry ride is truly spectacular, with Quaint Cornish fishing coves and cozy little caves and the world famous open air Theatre, Minack. The beautiful coastlines and the clear waters add to this enchanting and fantastic experience.

With Majestic cliffs, rocky coves and pristine sandy beaches with crystal clear seas, it is no wonder that Penzance is known for its outstanding natural beauty. It has ancient wonders dating back a thousand years and historical monuments and buildings. It is a quiet, peaceful town that has inspired many poets, artists and writers.

The Isles of Scilly consists mainly of six inhabited islands. Scilly rarely sees frost or snow and has the perfect climate for growing flowers especially Daffodils. As a result of the flower industry, there are many rare birds that visit Scilly. All this and much more make it one of the worlds best tourist destinations.
