    Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) is congenital heart problem in which ductus arteriosus of infant does not close after birth. This problem affect more girls than boys. Its symptoms are fast breathing, shortness of breath, poor growth, bounding pulse, tiredness, poor feeding habits and sweating while feeding. This problem can be self treated by the age of 2 years but surgery can be done for the treatment.
