    The spam filter are commonly used to filter junk mail.  These spam filters scan headers and contents of emails and check the origin of the mail and then forward it to your inbox.  There are many options which are available to you in order to protect yourself from spam email.

    The spam filter also scan the subject line and contents of an email if it feels that the contents are suspicious it will consider it as the junk mail. If there is some unusual email which is new to your inbox the junk mail filter will consider it as junk and put it in the junk mail folder of your mail. So always check the mail so that any important email should not be missed from your inbox.  Keep your junk mail filter updated so that you can easily get rid of junk mails.
