What Pet Is Better In Your Opinion, A Cat Or A Dog?
I like both, cats and dogs! Which is your favorite?

Dogs are known to be dependent pets. They keep a relationship of a master and follower with their keepers. Its more of a parent child relationship. Dogs need more interaction and attention as compared to cats who on the other hand are more independent pets. Dogs are also better around children. Dogs in my opinion are better for people who can take out time to be with them and take good care of them whereas cats for people who want to leave their pet alone for extended periods. In my opinion, I like dogs better. They listen to me and act like they care about my problems more. They change there attitude towards me(in a good way) when I am sad, upset, happy, and stressed. I love my dogs. I had cats growing up and I love cats too, but they are too much of roamers. They were not there for me when I needed someone to talk to. I had cats when I was young to keep the rats down in the feed shed. But then when I got my rat terrier mix, I discovered that she was all that we needed to keep the rats down. Til this day I believe that a dog can do almost anything that a cat can with more love and care. Now I have two dogs that love to catch rats and I would not change that for the world.
But on the other hand if you have an inside cat, they can be affectionate also. The only things is that if they go outside, they will roam until they get ready to go back home. So choose what you would rather.
Dog(inside or outside)---if you need someone to be there for you to talk to at any time. They like to care about your feelings.
Cat(outside)---if you just want someone that will say hi and bye when they get ready to.
Cat(inside)---if you want to hold them when they are ready and are not looking for true company at all times.
It is your choice. But choose carefully and think about what you are looking for in a pet.

I think cats are better pets. They are more independent and not as messy. I have 3 cats and 1 dog which I love all of them but I honestly feel cats are easier. Dogs are more affectionate more of the time though, where cats tend to be more on their own until they want your attention. And if you do need to go away overnight you know your cat is ok without a pet sitter. In the end both are great in their own way.
