The first Casino Royale was a television show and the actor who played James Bond in the series was Barry Nelson. The episode Casino Royale was aired on October 21, 1954. In this Americanised version, James Bond played the role of an agent for combined intelligence.
The first movie version of Casino Royale was released in the year 1967. It had David Niven as Sir James Bond, but has six other James Bonds also. They were Terence Cooper, Woody Allen, Joanna Pettet, Daliah Lavi, Ursula Andress and Peter Sellers.
The new version of Casino Royale is releasing in the year 2006 and it has Daniel Craig as James Bond. The film is produced by EON productions and Daniel Craig is making his debut as James Bond in the Movie. Prior to him the role of James Bond was played by Pierce Brosnan.
