Well if you(and a lawyer) have not worked out a deal between you and the holder of your loan they can bill you for it,garnish your paycheck,they can put lein on your house...most of the time they will re sell the vehicle and make you responsible for the remainder they could not make up between what you owed and what they sold it for at auction...that's the way i understand it..
