    The Answer!
logic101 a former technician with NCR

        The answer is very simple!
If you go back to the very start there were only two computer companies, NCR and IBM.
NCR invented a language that the computer could understand using the Binary Code, and everything had it's own binary code.
Then IBM came up with it's own binary codes for the same thing.
They both were the same, but for two numbers, 0 and .9999999.
NCR said one thing, and IBM said another. This came to be known as even parity and odd parity!
Now that is the difference between modern day Apple and IBM!
        It's that simple.

Hey logic 101, so...what did one say and what did the other say about 0 and .9999999 ( Is that supposed to be infinite)? Does this have to do with integrals and calculus? I seriously wanna know.

In my opinion, it would mainly be their operating systems. IBM uses Microsoft Windows (which most of the world has become used to). Apple uses their own, which I've heard is more stable than Microsoft's OS; the only thing is that it is somewhat of a quirky interface to get used to. I know a graphical designer and he said that Apple is great for their applications. As far the computer internals... I cannot speculate on those.
