The atom bomb incident for Japan was a tragic event. It was disaster after the defeat in the World War2. Because on one hand Japan was fighting with Germany against allied forces and on the other hand the atom bomb shivered the whole world and Japan as well. This event made Japan get out of the war. But this war gave them a lesson if they want to take edge over other countries then they will have to make themselves strong as a nation so no one may able to compete with them in the future.

Since the majority of their technicians, economists, doctors, engineers were demolished due to war so they adopted a policy to select a group of young students and give them quality of education and make them masters of their field. It was a timely effort and they waited a long time and when these groups were ready they then invested in their specialized field and started to earn the fruit of their patience and hard work.

After the atom bomb event they have been struggling and were trying to get on to the top. It was their efforts at that time that enabled them to now produce the world's latest technologies in cars, mobiles and other technology gadgets.

All of Japan's advancements today is because of the lesson they learnt from atom bomb story that if you want to conquer the world and rule it then use technology as a weapon not as arms. So I guess these were the few benefits that Japan got from atom bomb story.
