Which Dennis Wheatley Books Were Made Into Films?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Dennis Wheatley was born in London and was in the list of Worlds best selling authors from the year 1950 to 1960. A 'Hammer Film Production' made five of his novels into films. The names of these movies are listed below.
    Forbidden Territory
    Secret of Stamboul
    The Devil Rides Out
    The Last Continent
    To The Devil—A Daughter

Out of these the most famous movie was 'The Devil Rides Out'. Although Dennis Wheatley had written five original movie scripts, none of them were ever taken into consideration. It is also said that the very famous 'Alfred Hitchcock' was making one Wheatley's novel 'The Forbidden Territory' into a movie. But for some reason the plans never worked out. He was a well-read individual with interests varying in a wide range of topics from continental Europe to Historical fiction.
