I can't afford the prices I have found so far, especially for a puppy- I would happily adopt an older female Yorkie- I would like to see pictures and any kind of background information possible.

There are pet rescues nationwide that require an application process and it normally takes a little time, but you can state the breed you want and have it flown to you if it's out of your driving distance. You can contact www.petadoptions.com, which will lead you to other sites.

I have seen Yorkies on craigslist today. They only ask for a rehoming fee because they won't let them out right sell them on their site. Most of the fee's are reasonable. That is where I found my adorable Maltese for $50! They just want to make sure they go to a good home and are taken care of. Please don't fall for the guy saying he is going to ship the pup from Camroon though. There are postings all over the place about this guy! There are actually some legit offers on there though. Hope you get your little bundle of joy soon!!
