My Cat Is Losing His Fur. In The Areas That He's Completely Lost His Fur, His Skin Is Infected. Can I Use A Medicine Called Hot Spot On Him? What Causes This?
My cat's skin is infected badly and he is losing his fur. Could I put a medicine on him called hot spot?

I am not sure if you can use Hot-Spot Meds on your cat. I would contact your vet, he might have some sort of allergy and a skin test might need to be performed. You can rub some neosporin or bacitracin on the spots until you can get him to see a vet. Good-Luck.

This could be a case of 'ring worm' if I remember correctly. Don't quote me on this, but my cat's had it at one time and my two younger sisters both got it too. I guess it depends on whether or not the spots are in the shape of rings.
Take your cat to a vet immediately though. It could be something that may be life threatening. If I were you, I rather be safe then sorry.
