How Do I Get His Grandma To Accept Me?

When Jeremy (my fiance and father of my son) ask me to marry him, I knew I wouldn't be automatically accepted into his family! On the other hand, when he asked my parents for my hand in marriage, they obviously said yes to him or we wouldn't be engaged right now, they have accepted him into the family. My concern is that if Jeremy's family doesn't accept me that we won't get married and the engagement will be called off! I REALLY DON"T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN, any advice?

If Jeremy will not marry you without his family's consent, why did he ask you to begin with? He must have thought they would see thru any issues that may exist and believe that you all as a family can work thru them. In one sense you actually DO marry the family of your spouse and it is important to try to 'get along', on the other hand, Jeremy should be willing to marry you regardless of his parent's stance is. If he asked for your hand in marriage and you accepted- that should be it. Of course, that's just my opinion.

You must think more positively and if you see in yourself something wrong change it but for yourself not for any one if you see yourself good be just like you . But you can be kindly and nice with theme and start to give to his parents gift or some thing you know they need some special sweet kind of relationship you must build with your husband parents or family just feel love to theme and they will love you . and congratulation I am happy for you .
