He has been away for a year and this guy asked me out but I said no because I had a boyfriend....and he said if we could be friends with privileges and I said yes but now I don't know if I did correct...

You just have to be upfront with the man in jail. You shouldn't suffer because your man is in jail. He should respect you if you are honest with him

Friends with privileges?? I can only assume that means you have now cheated on your man that's in jail. I think you shouldn't have cheated, but that is in the past now...I think you should either tell the guy in jail what you did and see if he'll stay with you or just simply break it off and not tell him why. Not right to stay with him if you aren't going to be faithful.

I assume friends with privileges means what friends with benefits means where I live and that is friends that have sex with no intentions of a relationship. If it is not what you intended say so and any respectable guy will be okay with it and if he's not okay with it then his intentions were never good and you can do better.
