Depending on how big the gap is then you can buy a thing of caulk and use it to Seal the crack. Then if your wall is painted you can paint over the caulk after it dries. No one will really notice.

All good answers.There is a product out there call painters mate or decorators caulk which fits neatly into a mastic gun.It is also paint-able and is easy to use.Hope this helps.
