Copper is a chemical element with the symbol Cu. It is a ductile metal with excellent thermal and electrical conductivity.

The most important use of copper is in the electric wiring. It is an amazing conductor of electricity as it corrodes very slowly and is very ductile.

The second important use of copper is in the heating applications. It resists corrosion and conducts heat well. Copper pipes are used everywhere to distribute hot and cold water through homes and buildings.
