Bromyard is a town located in the north-eastern part of the county of Herefordshire. Herefordshire is a county and also a district in the West Midlands region of England. Bromyard was previously a market town. The population of the town of Bromyard is estimated to be approximately 3, 500. It is located on road number A44. This road extends from the town of Leominster and Worcester. Herefordshire is a county that shares a border with the county of Worcestershire. An interesting feature of the town of Bromyard is the local toy shop of the town. The toy shop is also a museum of dolls and teddy bears. The police confiscated three gollywog dolls which were prominently displayed in the window of the shop, as the members of the African and Caribbean communities in the town found it offensive and having racist overtones. Bromyard is best known for the Bromyard Folk Festival, a popular cultural event.
