It depends entirely on what you will use your lap-top for. Write a list of what your requirements are.ie. Photo and music storage, games machine, internet use ( surfing) and learning. Etc etc. Make a list of your needs, fix a price limit, have a look at a few lap-tops and lastly liaise with your sales person to find a machine to fit your needs. And, lastly....try haggling for the best deal.
