Sarah, Duchess of York is an acclaimed writer best known for her autobiography My Story which was released in 1996 and became a best seller. In her autobiography she recounts her experiences regarding how she had to adapt from being a country bred girl to being the Duchess of York; she also tells about the various incidents that disturbed her and how she learnt to cope with them.
She has written several other books with an autobiographical tone that include 'What I Know Now' and 'Reinventing Yourself with the Duchess of York: Inspiring Stories and Strategies.' Sarah, Duchess of York has also written several books on dieting and on her efforts to lose weight; books like Dieing with the Duchess: Secrets and Sensible Advice for a Great Body and Win the Weight Game: Successful Strategies for Living well among others.
She has also written several children's books like Lil' Red and Budgie the Helicopter in a series of adventures. Currently she is writing an adult novel based in the 17th century and entitled 'Hartmoor' in which the protagonist Lady Margaret has been depicted after the author herself.
