I Grew Up In The Midwest And My Mother Would Put Raw Cut Up Vegies In A Large Bowl, For Anytime Snacking. She Would Put A Clear Non Oily Liquid Over. I Don't Remember It Being Vinigar? What Was It?
I'm looking for that veggie sause. She put it over raw cabbage, lettus, calaflower, brockley, celery, carrots, and cucumber chunks.

I would have never thought of lemonaid!! It does sound reasonable and I will give it a try. Than You so much for your input. I'm off to the kitchen.
