£1050 = Our Net Price. How Do I Calculate Selling Price If We Want 65% Margin?

For example, if our selling price was £3000 our GM at 65% would be £1950 but how do I calculate it the other way around?

    Hi

The calculation for gross margin using your example would be:

    (1050 / (100% - 65%)) = 3000

    Hope this makes sense

    Hi The Sage
That's great, what a numptee I am. So simply once you have the calculation in front of you. I obviously knew the 35% came into it somewhere but I just couldn't get the maths right! Many thanks
