    Ms. Kitty Keeps Scratching Her Neck And Making An Open Wound. 1st Time (we Used Neosporin -it Healed)when She Was Brought To Us-old Owner Threw Her Out And Moved And The 2nd Time After We Had Her Fixed. Maybe Stress Related? Want To Get Her Back Feet Declawed Can't Afford Right It Now Need A Solution. Looked At E-collars, But Not Sure What's Best. Or Maybe An Ointment Suited For Cats?

    R her ears OK? My cat caused similar damage 2 his neck and the cause was waxy ears causing irritation but he scratched at his neck whilst scratching his ear! Treating the ear prob and bathing the neck wound with salt water followed by aloe Vera gel from the vet worked wonders! He does also cause the same damage when stressed and the bathing and gel works then too. Good luck. Hope she's better soon.
