How Can I Convert A Video 8 Camcorder Cassette To A DVD?

I have a wedding that I recorded on a Sony Handicam using video 8 cassette. I would like to transfer or convert it to a DVD disc. How do I do this? I have a Sony Vaio laptop and also a Vaio computer. My camcorder only has A/V ports to connect to TV or VCR. The computers have USB or s400. Is there a way to find adapters so they can connect to download the video?

I believe the most Sony computers have a audio/video inputs that will allow you capture the video from your camera. The camera might also have a USB output. With a USB connection quality would be better than with A/V. Once you have captured the video you can edit it and burn it to a DVD in windows movie maker.

Hi,Guest. Just take the steps as follows.First of all, record vhs in real time through the camcorder;Secondly, copy them on to pc;Thirdly, import them to DVD Creator, then you can customize the videos by trimming, cropping and setting brightness, contrast, saturation, resolution, frame, button, background music, menu template, slideshow transition effect. At the last, burn it and you get the perfect DVD movies. Enjoy it !!!! ~ ~ ~
