I was hospitalized 4 days after donating blood with a blood staph infection .could i have gotten it from the donating center, i almost died.

Well yes that's very much possible. Seems like the needles they used were infected with Staph Virus. And they used the same needles on you. Thank God! It was not HIV. Blood Staph infection is at least curable. Be very careful in future, always ask for a new needle.
