    My Automatic Mitsubishi Fto Doesn't Seem To Change Out Of Third Gear Even If I Put My Foot Down So It Starts And Stays In Third Gear And The Neutral Light Keeps Flashing, What's The Problem?

    The cars starts in third and stays in third gear no matter what and its an automatic so its really sluggish because it stays in third gear also the neutral light keeps flashing. I left my car undriven for a week while i was away and when i come back this happens and suggestions on Wat has happened or how i could fix it?

    Suggestion:  try moving the lever from park to low gear several (3-4) times in a row.  as you do not indicate the age of the car...that is my only qwik fix suggestion.  if this does not work check the transmission fluid.  if it is full and clean i suggest you take it to a certified mechanic...good luck to you.♥
